How to make paraffin boots
The medicine, despite set of new effective physiotherapeutic techniques, is not inclined to refuse effective "grandmother's ways". Paraffin boots often apply in pediatrics. Wrapping the child's legs from knee to feet in warm paraffin, cure some illnesses: neuralgia, SARS, muscular hyper tone of legs, ORZ. The procedure is carried out in complex with massage, drug treatment and electrophoresis.

Instruction
1. For preparation paraffin sapozhek take paraffin and ozokerite – the natural mountain wax having considerable heat-retaining ability and giving to paraffin plasticity, in the ratio 50/50. Before the use previously warm up mix of paraffin and ozokerite on water bath. When heating achieve his dehydration (that is very important) promoting avoiding of burns which reach by heating of mix up to 100 wasps within 15 minutes.
2. In house conditions take two different-sized pans which insert one into another. Fill big pan with the water necessary for heating, in smaller put mix of paraffin and ozokerite. Install the smaller pan containing mix in big pan above water level. At the same time densely close pan with mix cover, avoiding thus hit of vapors of water in mix of mountain wax and paraffin, and, therefore, and undesirable burns. You can reuse mix, having added to it up to 20% of ozokerite with paraffin.
3. There are several ways by means of which it is possible to make paraffin boots: Simple greasing: apply the warmed-up warm mix on legs with wide brush several times, forming layer in 1 cm.
4. Paraffin bathtub: previously grease legs with paraffin by means of brush. Then lower them in the capacity filled with paraffin, which temperature 50-55os.
5. Salfetno-applikatsionny: impregnate gauze napkins (put gauze in 10 layers and stitch) with paraffin of 60 — 70 wasps and, having wrung out, wrap them the child's legs which are previously processed by paraffin. If at you the gauze is unavailable, use fabric napkins (width of 10-15 cm, up to 1 m long) or take cotton golfs for this purpose. Put on cellophane package napkins, and over it woolen sock.
6. Cuvette and application: pour the melted warm paraffin layer in 2 — 3 cm in ditches (baking sheets). Stiffened, but still take soft paraffin flat cake from ditch and wrap it the child's legs.
