Simple meditation for mother
When you hear the word ""meditation"", for certain first of all imagine the yogis, Buddhist monks, strange people who are carried away by esoterics. And there can be scenes from the movie ""Eat. Pray. Love"" with Julia Roberts. Anyway, usually we do not connect meditation with everyday life. And especially, unclear, how to sit down in a lotus pose, to light aromas, to close eyes and to posozertsat when around children run and no minutes of rest give. And slightly you will sit down, resort and are interested what it you here, mother, do?
However I have a good news! If you do not chase exotic surroundings, at the disposal of each mother there are at least three (and actually, much more) meditation option. You do not need Buddha's statue, the special place or music. Everything that you need - to find what suits personally you and is ""compatible"" to your children.
Let's begin with definition. What is meditation? This word matters ""mentally to behold"", ""to reflect"". Also it is a way to clean the head, to put thoughts in order, to reduce the level of a stress, excitement, to appease emotions. It is the conscious activity directed to feeling a pacification or to focus on something and to solve a problem. In general, meditation can have different purposes. For me as for mother, meditation - a way to find tranquility, to feel that life flows smoothly as the river.
Here to meditate six easiest ways at children.
Way 1. Big cup of tea
The nursing mothers will understand me - the cup of tea or other drink has to be big. First, to get drunk. Secondly, as I found out, a tea drinking with slow stirring of sugar a spoon, slurping still of hot drink, thoughtful peering in a window are one from socially approved (that is not considered as strange) ways to keep silent in the company, to stay alone with the thoughts or of anything not to think at all.
One more socially approved way connected with kitchen and food - sunflower seeds. Yes! Sunflower seeds are routine and calming process during which often you catch yourself that in the head there is no thought!
And you know that children are able to meditate spontaneously? You, maybe, and remember it: when in the childhood you suddenly ""hung"" during clothing and collecting in a garden or during a lunch at a table. All thoughts disappeared and you literally appeared not here. But this state was usually interrupted by adults - time you chose not the most suitable.
State ""about anything not a dumaniye"" - one of the most difficult for those who constantly make many decisions and have a stress. But these moments for a while switch off your thoughts and alarms, allowing to have a rest.
Way 2. Meditative drawing
Even if you do not draw very at all, this type of drawing is available to all. Take a notebook and the handle and begin to draw patterns. Neither the symmetry, nor flatness of lines is unimportant. Just draw a vegetable or geometrical, or abstract ornament. Florets, hearts, spirals and waves. Use all space of a leaf. Your head will be occupied with to think up still to contain on a leaf, and this focus on paper and patterns will drag away you from daily thoughts.
Way 3. Knitting
Begin to knit the simple thing which is not demanding calculation of loops, high precision and patterns. And not really big. A scarf or a cap on needles or a hook - the optimum size. Not to all mothers children allow to tie, but if minute is - try. Experienced knitters not to delay from knitting - they and say that it calms. It is all about routine easy work as hands which unloads a brain. And the process, the better is more important for you. You knit to yourself and you knit.
Way 4. Molding
The molding - meditative process which will be estimated by both mothers, and children mother remains a row and does not retire deeply into oneself. From plasticine, the test or can sand (sand in a sandbox - in the summer, kinetic sand popular now - in the winter) - choose the materials pleasant to you and begin to mold with the child. Roll balls, sausages, a heart vyleplivayta, circles, squares, simple beings. Focus on process, but not on result: you spend time with the child, do not spend time in vain, and set it an example, mold for it, communicate. And at the same time the nervous terminations of your hands are stimulated, and thoughts are released. When material is chosen truly, you will feel pleasure from tactile feelings, and process for the sake of process, legal ""idleness"" is what to us, adults, so is not enough!
Way 5. Contemplate walk
The way to meditate on walk is connected with respiratory technicians and contemplation. When kids sleep in a carriage or with enthusiasm play in a sandbox, generally, are in safety, it is possible to use this time not for phone and the Internet, and for reduction of the thoughts in an order. Concentrate outdoors around yourself: trees, a grass, the sky..., you breathe exactly and measuredly. Breath. Exhalation. Breath. Exhalation. Slowly and attentively consider the world around yourself. Look for interesting details, plunge a look into them, find beauty, harmony and regularity in forms and flowers. Such concentration on details helps to see the world in a new way and very much occupies consciousness, giving rise as a result to the new ideas and thoughts.
Way 6. Zen stones
If you have a hill of flat sea stones naked children, try to poskladyvat together with the child from them a pyramid zen. This occupation demands concentration therefore it cannot be carried to weakening unambiguously. But it both change of activity, and the good joint occupation training in you and in the child patience, sleight of hand.
The ability to relax and change the course of the thoughts by effort of will does not come at once. Always something distracts and the notions of compulsion aim to prevent you. But over time you will disconnect easier and quicker yourself from daily occurrence to find pleasure in simple routine affairs. I recommend to all mothers to a thicket to pay attention to the thoughts, the level of a stress and from time to time to resort to the ordinary technicians of a relaxation and meditation available to all.
